After careful deliberation, I’ve concluded that “Meaning of Life Monday” is more catchy and deft than “Meaning of Life Friday,” which lacks the prerequisite alliteration/consonance for a continued posting theme.  Thus, ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, I present you with the purpose of everything!

There’s a very intriguing story behind this one.  Just a note for posterity; it’s not a good idea to spend thousands of dollars to deck out a traditional Catholic Church to look like Emerald City, especially not without the permission of your bishop, and definitely not against the will of your congregation.

As of now, Richard Dawkins has joined the ranks of honorable men (such as these guys) in personally condemning Harry Potter.  Apparently, he thinks fairy tales may have a pernicious effect on our children because they encourage anti-scientific thinking.
